We have made it to Amsterdam

We have made it to Amsterdam. I was so excited to learn that we were flying on the biggest the greatest 747!!!! I was excited until I found out that the tv's were not for individual. So I slept most of the flight. This morning we started the day with a morning game park run. Boy did we hit it big. We came across a pride of Lions, about 10 in total. They were resting after feeding. A small fight broke out between a few of them. It was awesome to watch. We also found a cluster of vultures feasting on what was left of the kill and jackels circling waiting for their turn. This point in the park was only about 7 KM from Tanzania. Just as we were heading back to check out of our tent, word spread that a Leopard was spotted. To see a leopard is golden. They are seldom spotted. We road off road at about 60 mph to get there. We had to rush to the airport to catch our 19 seater flight back to Nairobi. Little did we know that we would have a chance to take off and land on several little dirt runways on our way back. Way too cool. Except for the fact that at one point my mom saw a warning light come up that said low pressure. The pilot pulled out a book to read about the light. Yikes, note to self, don't sit that close to cock pit. Upon arriving at Nyumbani we had a chance to play with the kids, but the time passed way too quickly. We went from Cottage to cottage saying goodbye to the kids and then they did a really nice send off from the front gate. We sure will miss them. More when we get back to the states.
